We had a Wonderful Halloween –

We are having a lot of fun working with “Stages on the Sound” this year.

We were all VERY THANKFUL for our Blessings this Thanksgiving.

We are excited to get the Christmas season underway.

Some of our classmates are staring a KINDNESS CLUB… more details to follow.

Mrs. Tomasi and I are happily running the Board Game Club.  We are having great fun.

This is Oreo’s 5th year in 4th grade.  She is as happy as ever to share her days with the children of S.J.W.C.A.  Oreo loves tasty treats, such as, apples, carrots, spinach, grapes and more. If you would like to donate bedding, timothy hay or food to Oreo, please feel free to do so.

Grade 4 News

Fourth grade is organizing a newspaper and pet supply drive for Sean Casey Animal Rescue.  If you have newspapers, old or worn towels or other items suitable for pets, please consider donating them to our class S.C.A.R. drive. This drive will continue throughout the school year. Please help us help animals in need.
Sean Casey was very happy to receive the first, of hopefully many, shipments.

“Pennies for a Cause”

Our class has decided to create “Pennies for a Cause” based on an article we read about using the smallest currency to help make a difference.  We are currently collecting pennies that will be donated to T.E.A.L, an organization based in our community, that helps and supports the fight against Ovarian cancer.  A cause particularly near and dear to my heart.

Mrs. Ellen Papa has volunteered to be our class parent.   She can be contacted at  Please send her your email, especially if you are new or have changed your address.  She will help keep you posted on class events.

If you have not already done so, please print, sign and return the compliance form, which is located in the school handbook section on this site.

Please check the remind app for upcoming tests.
