Families,
On behalf of the entire faculty and staff, I extend a warm welcome back and wish you all a Happy New Year filled with joy and blessings. We are incredibly grateful for the continued support and partnership of our families, which is instrumental to the success of our students.
As we move through the month of January, we anticipate receiving high school admissions decisions. This 8th-grade class has truly excelled academically, exceeding the state-published scores in both English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics. Their dedication and hard work are truly inspiring. Reflecting on the past two graduating classes, we are proud to share that they collectively earned an impressive $1,017,750 in scholarships in 2024 and $711,860 in 2023. We eagerly anticipate the bright futures that await our current 8th-grade graduates.
The success extends beyond our 8th graders. Our 4th-grade students also demonstrated exceptional academic performance, significantly surpassing the state average in both ELA and Mathematics. Our students achieved a remarkable 86.21% proficiency in ELA and 63.33% in Mathematics, compared to the state averages of 50% and 58%, respectively. Furthermore, we are thrilled to celebrate a 100% pass rate on our NYS Regents exams.
As we look ahead to the second half of the year, we anticipate celebrating further growth and continued success for all our students.
Our Home Academy Association (HAA) has also been busy working hard to plan exciting community events. We are delighted to announce the return of our popular Card Party! We are also introducing a new and exciting event: Casino Night. Both events promise to be a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together while supporting our beloved Academy. Please keep an eye out for further details on these upcoming events and how you can get involved.
