Distance Learning extended until April 30

In accordance with state and federal guidelines regarding social distancing, all Catholic Academies and Parish Schools will remain closed, and distance learning will continue through April 30, 2020.

Please continue to monitor our website for updates.

Stay safe and continue to pray for an end to Covid-19.

Easter Recess Schedule

Dear SJWCA families,

We hope you all are staying safe and healthy.

St, Joseph the Worker Catholic Academy will take the scheduled Easter break as it is published on the school calendar, beginning on Holy Thursday, April 9, 2020 until Friday, April 17, 2020.

We will return to virtual classes on Monday, April 20, 2020.

While our local public schools have shortened their Spring break, our academy does not need to as we did not lose any instructional days in the switch to distance learning.

Please let us all continue to pray for the health and safety of our community.

We look forward to the day we can be together again in the SJWCA building.

Distance Learning

Dear Parents & Guardians:

During the 2019-2020 school year, teachers have been implementing online learning into daily instruction. So as the Covid-19 epidemic struck we felt very confident switching over to distance learning.

While we do miss the students and each other, we are providing a comprehensive learning environment and are always here to support you.

Find out more details about our distance learning protocols by following this link.

Distance Learning

We pray that everyone continues to stay safe.

School Closed 3/16 – 3/20

While the mayor has not closed city schools, here at SJWCA we are busy preparing. We will close Monday the 16th for a professional day to allow teachers to effectively plan and prepare for distance learning.

We will be closed for the remainder of the week. Online learning will begin next week.

Continued prayers for an end to Covid-19

Stay safe and continue to check Class Dojo and our website for up to date information.
