Current Volunteer opportunities:

To Sign-up for any of the following opportunities please contact lwitthohn@sjwca.org. There are a number of ways that parents can volunteer their time to our academy and fulfill their service hours requirement, such as:

CLASS TRIPS/CLASS EVENTS: As scheduled by teachers

CARD PARTY: This is our major fund raiser of the year.  Parents can help in a number of ways to prepare for the event to set up, clean up, and sell raffles on the night of the event.  Please contact Ms. Schneck or Ms. Karen for more details

BAKE SALES: Each class hosts a sale during the school year

IRISH AMERICAN PARADE: Parents are needed to chaperone the students along the parade route

CARNIVAL/FIELD DAY:  Parents help supervise student activities at this June event.

WALKATHON: Parents are needed to chaperone students along the route. This event occurs on Halloween and in the spring.

MIDDLE SCHOOL DANCE:  Volunteers to set up, clean up and chaperone. Please see Ellen Papa for information.

BOOK FAIR:  This is a week-long event that occurs during Catholic Schools Week

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK: Various events will occur during the week of Jan. 28th – Feb. 2nd.  

PAINT NIGHT: This event will take place in March and parents can assist in the set up and clean up for the night.
