Joseph Lanzarone has been volunteering in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church since the 5 the grade. For many years he was director of the Ministry of Altar Serving in the parish as well as leading the Youth Group and teaching faith formation on Wednesday evenings in the parish CCD program. During this time Joseph realized that he enjoyed working in schools and teaching young students and decided to go to school for MS in Education in 2015. 

Joseph received a BS in Political Science with a focus on Constitutional Law from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2013 and an MS Education from Brooklyn College in 2017. 

While working towards his Masters Degree at Brooklyn College, Joseph was working in the Ryken Program at Xaverian High School until he obtained his NYS Teaching Certification in June of 2017. 

Joseph also spent 3 years teaching Special Education Science in a local Public School for grades 6-8. 

Joseph enjoys reading, creative writing, chess, fishing and playing music. He spends most summers every year hiking and fishing in the Poconos.
