Employed Since: 2012

I have been teaching for over 50 years in the Diocese of Brooklyn. I have a Master’s Degree in Math and Math Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. I have a second Master’s Degree in Curriculum with a focus on English Language Arts and Literacy.

I am currently the High School Coordinator for the 7th and 8th Grade students here at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Academy. I assist with the Application Process for the families to help them get into the High School of their choice.

I am also the Religion Coordinator for the Academy. I prepare all prayer services and Masses. I am also the liaison with the aligned parishes and the Academy.

I also teach an Algebra I advanced Math Course to selected students in Grade 8. This prepares them for High School Math and allows them to take the Algebra I NYS Regents. If the students achieve at least an 85 on the Regents  they advance to the next level of High School Mathematics
