Mrs. Sánchez was born and raised in Puerto Rico and now resides in Brooklyn. For over twenty years, she worked as a journalist in Spanish-Language Media outlets in the United States., both as a writer and an editor. Mrs. Sánchez graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. She also has a Master’s Degree in Journalism from Florida International University and a Master's Degree in Spanish as a Second Language from the University of Barcelona in Spain.
Mrs. Sánchez has two children and loves spending time with her family watching soccer and visiting family in Puerto Rico and Barcelona.
